Overview

This role is within our 'Publicis Vita' team working across the Ancestry account, specifically across the Ancestry Central markets. Ancestry is the global leader in family history and consumer genomics, connecting families through their DNA and Family tree offerings.

The manager will act as a liaison between activation teams in AU and CA and the Ancestry client. While the role doesn't involve any direct activation, the key focus is helping the AU and CA teams on projects around channel excellence and maintaining strong ways of working between all teams. Despite there not being any direct activation in this role, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in paid search who will also ideally have past exposure to other digital channels in the past.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with client on developing paid media strategies and lead on paid media projects across Ancestry Central markets.
  • Act as a main point of contact between activation teams in Central markets and the Ancestry client, supporting teams on project updates.
  • Have a strong understanding of key projects that Ancestry Central activation teams work on.
  • Lead on weekly communications, including performance calls, between Publicis and Ancestry.

Qualifications

We are looking for a new or experienced Manager, to lead on the strategic and tactical execution of strategy within Ancestry Central markets. We are looking for candidates with experience in paid search and Paid Social with exposure to other channels as well.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working with data and have very strong attention to detail. They will be a team player who is keen to learn and is results driven. They will own projects that are set by both activation teams and client teams whilst showing very strong communication skills. They will also be very comfortable liaising with and manage expectations between many different stakeholders.

Pre-requisites for the role

  • Strong communication skills and strategically focused, with the ability to handle requests and performance-based questions from multiple stakeholders with ease.
  • Exemplary time management skills, able to prioritize and work well under pressure
  • Analytical, with a focus on driving commercial return and identifying opportunities in data from a variety of sources
  • Someone who can excel in a fast-paced, multi-client environment requiring a blend of technical, analytical and commercial knowledge. Comfortable with ambiguity and excellent at problem-solving.
