The role

The Performance Marketing Manager role sits within our dynamic, multi-disciplined marketing team & will be responsible for driving profitable new user growth & promoting the Motorway brand across our paid acquisition channels.

You'll be hands-on in the advertising platforms running the day-to-day activity & take ownership of testing and optimisation & using data-driven insights to ensure we are continually growing and evolving our campaigns. You will also work closely with our advertising partners to identify additional opportunities in the accounts, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams & analysing the competitive landscape for ways to improve our strategy.

What you'll do

  • Be responsible for planning, buying, and optimising our performance marketing campaigns across various paid social, paid search, and programmatic channels (Google Ads, Meta, Tiktok, DV360 etc) to drive higher ROI from our spend.
  • Oversee day-to-day campaign management including budgets, bid strategies, creative/ copy & targeting/ tracking implementation, ensuring that we pacing in line with plan.
  • Identify growth opportunities, working with internal and external partners to launch new channels/ platforms & scale existing campaigns further.
  • Monitor key KPIs & produce regular reports & presentations, sharing actionable insights & recommendations with the wider business.
  • Own our experimentation roadmap - develop and execute A/B tests and share learnings with key stakeholders.
  • Work with our data analytics team to improve bidding methodology & ensure we have best-in-class measurement in place.
  • Streamline existing processes within the team, striving to automate tasks where possible.
  • Work with our creative team to introduce new creatives, collaborate on creative strategy & develop breakthrough ideas to help acquire new users more efficiently.

Requirements

  • Solid performance marketing experience, with a proven track record of scaling campaigns within agreed efficiency thresholds.
  • SA360 & DV360 experience advantageous but not essential.
  • Knowledge of wider digital marketing channels & up-to-date on the latest privacy/ attribution challenges in the industry
  • Strong data analysis skills, able to identify trends & provide actionable insights back to the business.
  • Advanced use of Excel/ Google sheets. SQL / dashboarding skills are a bonus.
  • Strong technical understanding of tracking, tagging & attribution
  • Ability to work cross functionally & juggle multiple priorities, comfortable working to meet deadlines
  • A strong communicator with the ability to establish and manage internal & external relationships.
  • Experience in a fast-paced growth company - a proactive self-starter, able to take ownership and drive projects forward
