Performance Manager
Brighton
What you will be doing:
An opportunity has arisen for a Performance Manager to join the team at Southern Water, a Galliford Try business. The Performance Manager will maintain compliance and adherence to the Framework Key Performance Indicators of the Southern Framework.
- Lead by example to promote the highest standards of HS&E&Q at all times
- Work closely with the HS&E team to instil positive cultures and behaviours
- Work with the supply chain to build relationships to ensure our KPI's are understood, and exceeded
- Champion and encourage others to think strategically when developing new approaches or addressing novel problems to aid and better perform on KPI's
- Provide leadership and promote high professional standards and best practice across all functions
- Work with, influence and support other functional leaders to develop best practice, continuous improvement in delivery of our projects and programmes
- Ensure alignment with the Client's vision throughout delivery of the contract
- Build trust and openness with clients, customers and stakeholders, acting upon feedback where required
- Promote innovation to deliver the required efficiencies across our operations
- Provide training and guidance where needed to ensure each area of the business unit operates at a high level to ensure all KPI's are met
- Manage people, resources and relationships effectively to ensure efficient delivery of KPI's
- Ensure performance standards are always achieved through KPI analysis and implementation of improvement plans
- Work closely with the Heads of Delivery / Operational Leaders within the Business unit
About You:
- Track record of effective staff development and employee relations
- Capable of strategic planning and managing change in an efficient way (outside the box thinking)
- Excellent track record of HS&E&Q performance
- Experience of the complexities associated with engineering construction is advantageous
- Track record of accountability for the performance within a business unit
- Can facilitate team and client meetings effectively
- Strong presentation skills
- Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
- Must have strong negotiation skills and be able to manage conflict
- Ability to make autonomous decisions and be able to support your outcomes
- Preferably degree level qualified but not essential
- Excellent oral and written and communication skills
- IT literate in Microsoft Office applications
