JOB TITLE: Performance Manager

SALARY: £57,546 - £63,940 (dependent on location and experience)

LOCATIONS: Leeds / Halifax

HOURS: Full-Time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites

About This Opportunity

We're looking for two Performance Managers as part of the Customer Propositions team. We're heavily investing into customer propositions and we're looking for those special people who can help us transform the our team into a commercial and customer value delivering team. This role supports the Mass Market Segment teams and the different customer proposition teams and helps drive the commercial performance across the team. Focused on current and future customer value you'll be able to engage, influence and story tell across various partner groups

The Role:

In this role you'll help embed robust measures to manage the end-to-end customer pipeline value, propositional performance and the impact on the group customer P&L. You'll work closely with the customer insights team, finance teams and the different product teams.

  • Help manage the customer propositions impact on the Group Customer P&L considerate of metrics, value-calculations and commercial objectives
  • Contribute to the creation of the customer propositions business plan helping implement and track (direct and indirect) metrics
  • Help create alternative measures of value including customer engagement, customer-value, customer-life-time value and family relationships
  • Collaborate with segment teams to manage the full customer-pipeline performance and value is considered, tracked and reported
  • Collaborate with proposition teams to manage robust proposition metrics are agreed and measured across both delivery and run
  • Partner engagement with chief customer office around data, insights and reporting needs
  • Supports the management of trading forums, which discuss decision making around business prioritisation
  • Partner engagement with finance for the management of elements across budget, cost and resource management pillars
  • Management of key elements across controls implementation, monitoring and automation for customer propositions

What You’ll Need

  • Commercial Skill - strong commercial skills to aid the management of critical commercial artefacts which enable the effective measurement and dissection of customer, proposition and commercial performance lenses
  • Product Insights - experience across banking products including a good understanding of the commercial drivers of product construct and performance inclusive of pricing and market considerations
  • Value Measurement - help creates measures that showcase the value created from Customer Plan and Proposition with regards to customer engagement, their lifetime value and the impact of establishing and strengthening connectivity across segments
  • Investment Management - key contributor to investment planning and prioritisation practices, ensuring Customer Propositions allocation optimises value-creation opportunities and aligns to backlogs
  • Relationship Management - strong partner management to ensure support functions continuously provide timely and quality inputs and support to enable the effective functioning of the team
