Performance & Insights Manager - Luxury

The Performance and Insights Manager will be responsible for the performance narrative and discovery of insights to drive growth across Diageo's luxury customer segments. This role will cover on-trade, off-trade, and eCommerce channels. The successful candidate will leverage data analytics, market trends, and consumer insights to optimize business strategies and achieve commercial excellence.

TOP ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Develop comprehensive execution dashboards to supervise key performance indicators (KPIs) and execution standards for on-trade, off-trade and eCommerce luxury.
  • Use advanced analytical tools to interpret sophisticated data sets and provide actionable insights. Delivering a clear and concise monthly narrative on the key execution drivers across both on/off trade and ecommerce channels. Dig deep to uncover the underlying causes and find opportunities & recommendations for in-year interventions to accelerate our growth across the full DLC customer base.
  • Collaborate closely with internal collaborators to identify areas of improvement of execution. Key functions to collaborate with are revenue growth management, category leads, data & technology.
  • Supervise the effectiveness of implemented strategies through continuous feedback loops.
  • Partner with Global Luxury and Digital teams to maximise existing insight for optimized execution opportunities.

  • Significant relevant commercial and marketing experience with a consistent record of business delivery in cross-functional roles.

  • Exceptional ability to build and maintain relationships based on mutual trust & respect

  • Successful management of senior partners through performance management and business planning cycles.

  • Ability to cut through complexity and tell simple stories with relevant data

  • Operate effectively within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and matrixed environment

  • Known for brilliant execution to impeccably high standards with deep personal accountability for outstanding performance

  • Strong end to end commercial FMCG understanding, alongside high levels of analytical and numerical capability and attention to detail

  • Ability to have tough but positive conversations, across a variety of internal collaborators with different interests and objectives

  • A passion for luxury brands that shines through in the way you engage and make recommendations as well as clear understanding of both the on and off trade channel sales and marketing structures.

  • A strong solid understanding of PowerBI, CRM/field sales management systems, trade funds management systems (e.g. Anaplan) and significant expertise with Microsoft excel.
