Qualifications

Essential criteria

  • Ability to demonstrate operational and/ or clinical experience in order to interpret performance against key national standards.
  • Demonstrate the skill and knowledge to lead a project group.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.

Desirable criteria

  • Educated to Degree or master's Level of Education

Experience

Essential criteria

  • Practical experience of Change Management.
  • Examples of facilitating collaborative working across both operational and clinical staff.
  • Performance management including monitoring of delivery to timescales.

Desirable criteria

  • Examples of leading multidisciplinary team projects including senior clinical staff Project management

Knowledge/Skills

Essential criteria

  • Knowledge of NHS datasets and analysis
  • Highly developed negotiating and influencing skills, overcoming barriers to understanding and acceptance, and reaching agreements
  • Ability to interpret and analyse complex facts or situations
  • Good working knowledge and practical skills in the use of Microsoft Office products to aid in report development and performance management.

Desirable criteria

  • Understanding of broad NHS roles and responsibilities, structures and processes
  • Working knowledge of PRINCE2 and or similar PMO principles.
  • Access and Cancer Services agenda.
