We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Brand Manager to build on the success & momentum of our PEPSI cola brand. PEPSI Max has seen impressive growth over recent years and is now a brand worth over $1 Bn in annual retail sales in GB. Position Summary:

Working on the PEPSI brand team within the GB Beverages Marketing function, this role is responsible for managing several of the largest initiatives on the brand. Working closely with a Senior Marketing Manager, this is an exciting position with the opportunity for you to help create a legacy in the role and shape the future of our flagship Beverages brand.

In this role you will connect closely with Consumer Insights, Creative agencies, TCP team, media partners, R&D & Supply Chain, as you work across a series of exciting projects for the coming year. There's no better time to join the team and inject your stamp and energy on this brand!

You will be responsible for working on large-scale brand campaigns, as well as innovation projects and activations that will continue to differentiate PEPSI within the category, shaping the future of this iconic brand. This role is also responsible for partnering with the commercial functions and with our bottling partner Carlsberg-Britvic, to deliver execution with impact.

Responsibilities

  • Driving brand activations, with executional excellence.
  • Supporting the Snr Marketing Manager to deliver year-round activation of our key occasions, which ladder back to our brand strategy.
  • Creating and executing the plans for our PEPSI brand in the UK, rooting plans in powerful insight, data driven analysis and a deep understanding of the local consumer, shopper and trade customer, with particular focus on Grocery retail and AFH (Away from Home) channels.
  • Collaborating with key cross-functional partners: Commercialisation, Consumer Insights, Shopper Marketing and Supply Chain.
  • Working closely with agency teams to develop comms and activations against key brand programmes. Writing inspirational briefs rooted in consumer insight, aligning the team on recommended creative routes and providing concise & constructive feedback, as required.
  • Collaborating strongly with bottler partner, to ensure flawless, timely and commercially strong in market execution.
  • Supporting on local packaging development process.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years consumer marketing experience using a broad range of marketing mix elements, to deliver proven growth in brand penetration.
  • Strong consumer understanding and brand building skills - understanding consumer insights to help build stronger activations & campaigns.
  • End-to-end consumer campaign experience (ideally including promo activation & NPD launch).
  • Creative - ability to bring a fresh, creative approach to problem solving. A natural intuition for consumer trends & how to translate them into marketing strategies.
  • A real passion for Marketing as well as having a high level of commercial acumen.
  • Good eye for analysis of category data to understand performance and identify robust growth opportunities.
  • Engage and influence multiple stakeholders to build strong working relationships.
  • Experience of engaging and leading cross functional teams: internal and external partners.
  • Leading external agencies to develop and deliver winning marketing plans & content.
  • Strong track record of taking business projects from concept to delivery.
  • Native collaboration skills and proven ability to influence and galvanize cross functional teams.
  • Excellent relationship building, listening and influencing skills.
  • Proven ability in managing multiple complex and hands-on projects.
  • Project management - ability to manage multiple projects in a fast moving and ever-changing environment with maturity to cope with stakeholder changes, sometimes last minute.
  • Demonstrates a sense of passion, enjoyment and pride about their work.
  • Develops creative solutions and different ways of working that add value.
  • Exhibits a "can do" attitude and a willingness to take on significant challenges.
  • Good presentation and communication skills.
  • A strong drive for results, comfortable with embracing challenges, and working within a fast-paced team.
