Join our People and Culture Team as a People Transformation and Operational Excellence Lead.
In this role, you will lead transformational change to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the People & Culture function. You'll design and implement sustainable solutions, manage projects using methodologies like Agile, and work closely with business leaders and stakeholders.
You will drive key initiatives, facilitate team collaboration, manage risks, and ensure successful delivery of change activities that enhance employee experience and support strategic goals.
This is a hybrid role based in one of the following offices: Bournemouth, Birmingham, Bristol, Guildford, London, or Manchester, with the expectation to be on-site two days per week.
Salary Information
Pay: Circa £65,500 per year. Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.
About You
In this role you will be:
- Developing the People & Culture function through transformational change and process improvements.
- Leading and supporting change initiatives using Agile, Waterfall, and Design Thinking methodologies.
- Sourcing and managing external suppliers in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Conducting needs analysis to prioritize initiatives and support funding discussions.
- Preparing reports and internal communications for senior leadership.
- Leading matrixed, multi-disciplinary teams while managing project risks.
- Collaborating with business leaders and People & Culture colleagues to address change needs.
- Designing, delivering, and evaluating interventions such as Agile sprints, workshops, and team development activities.
- Staying updated on HR trends and best practices to enhance internal change approaches.
- Engaging stakeholders as partners in developing and implementing change activities.
Essential Skills
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Deep expertise in reward, payroll, HR services, or resourcing.
- Proven experience delivering major change and driving systems or process improvements.
- Strong influencing skills to shape behaviours, mindsets, and outcomes.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, effective at all organisational levels.
- A collaborative team approach, supportive of broader organisational goals.
- Resilience and effectiveness when managing conflicts, challenges, and varied workloads.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage time and track multiple initiatives effectively.
