Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity, to join the people team in the role of People Team Manager which has been created to support the Regional People Partner.

This role will work across Greater London and report to the RPP, supporting them with succession planning through to Team Manager (SITM) and supporting operational people delivery across the region. This will include supporting line managers on absence and performance management with the continued advice and coaching from the Line Manager Advisory team.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop remarkable people

• Coordinate all Team Manager moves across the regions, ensuring a robust succession plan is in place across stores

• Enable a pipeline of diverse Team Managers by working with the Store Managers, RPP and APP to identify talent, and building development plans, focusing on Stage One of Stepping Into Team Manager programme

• 100% accurate execution

• Work with the RPP to identify regional risk including absence cases, performance needs and training.

• Work with the Academy Learning Partner to identify newly appointed Team Managers and provide follow up coaching to ensure success in role

• Analyse People data and insights making recommendations to follow through actions.

• Use data to identify opportunities to promote the use of MyHR, LMAS and Colleague Services in Stores, driving self-service compliance in operational people processes

• Drive high performance

• Support Store teams to deliver people processes to a high standard e.g., Disciplinary & Grievance, colleague engagement, performance management and absence.

• Support the Regional People Partner & Regional Managers with regional People Activity as required, e.g. Your Voice.

Regional mobility required across Greater London.
