The role...

Our HR Operations team is seeking a People Reporting and Data Analyst to join us on a permanent basis. In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting internal stakeholders by delivering accurate reports, validating data, and providing actionable insights. You'll use your technical expertise to understand business requirements, ensure timely data delivery, and drive continuous system improvement. Additionally, you'll provide training on system and reporting tools, with the goal of transitioning to a self-service model for our team.

Some of your key day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Reporting

  • Create, maintain, and schedule regular and ad hoc reports, including interactive dashboards aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Develop strategic reporting requirements and enable self-service data access for People Teams and line managers.
  • Utilise data for trend analysis and ensure data integrity in all reporting processes.

Data Governance

  • Support data needs for downstream systems, maintaining governance standards for data quality and metrics.
  • Collaborate with end users to enhance data management, ensuring consistent use of KPIs and standard definitions.

Continuous Improvement

  • Utilise data to drive Continuous Improvement across HR.
  • Propose and implement system improvements to maintain data integrity and highlight key metrics, trends, and risks.
  • Support various programs and activities, identifying and escalating potential risks while continually improving processes.

Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)...

  • Previous experience using Oracle Fusion and OTBI
  • You must have an in depth understanding of General Data Protection Regulation
  • Experience working with SQL is essential
  • You must have HR Data reporting experience

  • Strong understanding of quality management such as standards, regulations and applicable policies and procedures
  • You will be able to demonstrate an organised approach to documentation, and recording good practice processes.
  • A strong and reliable team member who contributes to both individual development goals and the team's objectives
  • Effective relationship management to liaise with various teams and stakeholders
  • Thrive in a fast paced, changing environment - is flexible and able to adapt
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to perform data analysis
  • Resilient with a strong work ethic
  • Experience of Google Suite including Google Sheets is advantageous
