Join our People and Culture Team as a People Partner.
In this role, you will drive the people strategy and deliver value-add solutions aligned with the people plan. You will partner with Senior/Executive Leaders within a business function and support the Lead People Partner(s) and People Director with their portfolios.
Additionally, you will provide comprehensive HR services to managers and employees, working with our Centres of Excellence and Shared Services
This is a hybrid role based in one of the following offices: Bournemouth, Birmingham, Bristol, Guildford, London, or Manchester, with the expectation to be on-site two days per week.
Salary Information
Pay: Circa £65,500 per year. Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.
About You
In this role you will be:
- Supporting the delivery of the people strategy and workforce plans in line with business objectives.
- Collaborating with People Partners and stakeholders to design effective operating models and talent management initiatives.
- Identifying future capability needs using external market insights and aligning them with industry trends.
- Coaching leaders and managers on effective talent development, succession planning, and career growth.
- Executing talent acquisition strategies in partnership with CoEs to attract and onboard future talent.
- Driving cultural alignment by embedding organisational values through strong stakeholder partnerships.
- Contributing to performance improvement by leveraging reward strategies and HR insights.
- Leading or managing cross-divisional HR projects to deliver against corporate people goals.
Essential Skills
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Recent, hands-on experience in generalist HR, partnering with mid to senior-level business stakeholders.
- A solid understanding of current employment legislation and how it applies in practice.
- Proven experience managing change initiatives, including supporting leaders through transformation.
- A strategic mindset, with the ability to anticipate and shape future people needs.
- Confidence and credibility, with the gravitas to influence and challenge at senior levels.
- Experience in organisational design, including restructuring, spans and layers, and streamlining activities.
