Position

We're looking for a proactive and capable People Operations Manager to join our team. You'll play a key role in improving systems for recruiting staff and volunteers including developing new solutions to support organisational priorities. You'll deliver effective employee relations support, ensuring approaches draw on good practice. You will also manage the safe, effective running of our office in Abingdon.

What You'll Do:

- Oversee recruitment and onboarding for staff and volunteers

- Manage, configure and maintain HR systems and workforce data

- Provide support to managers of staff and volunteers

- Develop learning/training offers to support core learning requirements and professional development

- Act as site manager for our office, managing health and safety compliance

What You'll Bring:

- Experience of managing people and processes with a professional approach

- Interest in supporting a broad range of activity across the employee lifecycle

- Strong organisational and communication skills

- Proven multitasking skills with an ability to manage competing priorities

- Knowledge of best practice in volunteer management

Requirements

Hours: 35 hours a week (0.8 FTE considered)

Job Location: Abingdon (minimum 3 days in office)

Salary: £40,000 per annum
