Our human resources team, (we prefer to simply call them "people") play an integral role in every aspect of our hotels. They are responsible for recruiting (and retaining) the best talent and then keeping them happy. And each one of our amazing People members keeps us humble and focused. We're currently searching for a People Operations Manager, who will be the guru of People, processes and programs at 1 Hotel Mayfair.

The People Operations Manager is the key to a high-performance culture that emphasizes our brand mission and point of view, as well as upholds ambitious standards for every team member, sets them up to attain challenging goals and evolves the workforce and SH culture through ongoing development and ever-evolving needs of the hotel.

Qualifications

About you...

You will support the People operations of the hotel and the day to day running of our vibrant People department focusing on the entire employee experience from onboarding, engagement, recruitment & retention, learning & development, and well-being.

  • Sound HR generalist knowledge
  • Previous training experience a plus
  • Ability to work under pressure, remain calm
  • Comfortable handling people matters
  • Look at every situation from the bright side
  • Confident, professional, and welcoming personality
  • Excels at communication, both verbal and written
  • Is flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation
  • Passionate about people workplaces and culture with a minimum of 3 years experience as People Officer/Advisor within hospitality preferably in a luxury lifestyle brand
  • You must have the right to live and work in the UK to be eligible for this role
