People Manager - Colleague Voice

About The Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Communications Manager to join our Internal Communications team on a 12 month maternity cover. Based at our support office in Bradford, you'll take charge of Colleague Voice, driving communication and engagement strategies that help our colleagues stay informed, connected, and inspired.
This role is based at our office in Bradford, West Yorkshire and you'll be expected to work from the office at least 4 days per week.
In this role, you'll be working closely with the Listening and Responding team, as well as the Recognition and Events team, to deliver creative, engaging communications that resonate across the business. You'll also manage a small team, supporting their growth as they contribute to making Morrisons a great place to work.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading the development and delivery of communication strategies that encourage colleagues to focus on service, sales, and profitability
- Managing Colleague Voice initiatives to keep our people informed and engaged with key changes and business updates
- Supporting a team of People Specialists in delivering impactful internal communications that align with Morrisons' brand and tone of voice
- Working with senior leaders across the business to communicate priorities and plans effectively
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard
About You
We're looking for someone with solid experience in internal communications, especially in creating and executing engaging communication strategies that build strong connections with colleagues. You'll need to be confident working with senior stakeholders and have a track record of managing communication channels and teams in a dynamic environment.
To Succeed in This Role, You'll Need:
- Proven experience in developing and delivering internal communication strategies
- Strong skills in crafting engaging messages that resonate with different audiences
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities
- A collaborative approach to building relationships with senior stakeholders and teams across the business
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience providing feedback on others' writing
- Experience in managing and improving communication channels and processes
