We are looking for someone who has the desire to create meaningful change with people and culture, through learning and development opportunities, someone who values diversity and aims to make a meaningful impact.
An opportunity has arisen for a fixed term contract role covering maternity, to join Veolia's central People Development team, supporting the Municipal part of our business operations. You will work within a team, who are working hard at delivering learning and development initiatives to help support our wider mission of our organisation's development inline with our strategy.
The ideal person will have experience of working within the learning and development world. We are looking for someone to join us who understands the importance of identifying learning needs, to in turn design and deliver development initiatives, aligned with our organisation's overall strategy of GreenUp, and embedding these learnings to create behavioural change. You will:
- Drive a culture that aligns with Veolia's values, fostering long-term success and efficient ways of working.
- Engage, and inspire stakeholders to deliver key transformations.
- Scope, design, and implement People Development interventions to respond to changing priorities, within the full cycle of learning.
- Foster a culture of accountability, through embedding learning and development interventions to measure success of investment and effectiveness
- Champion diversity and inclusivity throughout the organisation.
What we're looking for:
Essential
- We are looking for someone who has experience facilitating development and learning.
- Have the ability to broker strong stakeholder relationships, influencing and negotiating in a context of uncertainty and change to obtain buy in and engagement across the organisation
- Be able to instil confidence with your stakeholders through clear communication and consistent delivery
- Instil trust, maximising relationships and gaining the confidence of others through integrity, authenticity and effective communication
- Be experienced at a senior level, in public or private sector, of delivering development initiatives
- Be a strategic thinker who can take a broader view, participate in setting and driving long term strategy
- Experience of working within the Learning & Development world
