As the People Change Manager, you will be supporting a complex people change programme within our Insurance Business. You'll be a TUPE and people change expert, highly skilled at creating detailed project plans, reports, and progress updates. You'll be great at building key relationships quickly and translating high level activities into concise plans.
Reporting to the Head of People Partnership you will be working as part of the wider HR project team to apply the best project management methodologies and principles to enable timely and budget-friendly delivery of work.
We offer flexibility over where you work and you can choose a place that you feel most comfortable and productive, either from home or in one of our hubs in London, Ashford, or Sandwich. There will be a small hybrid element to this role, meeting on an ad hoc basis at our King Cross office in London.
Role Responsibility
As our People Change Manager you will be responsible for developing a comprehensive people change project plan for implementation, including timelines, resources, and milestones
Other accountabilities will include:
- Developing a comprehensive people change project plan for implementation, including timelines, resources, and milestones
- Accurately maintaining detailed records of project progress, documenting decisions and changes
- Provide regular status updates to relevant stakeholders
- Identifying and managing/escalating any legal or project risks
- Staying organised to ensure deadlines are met
- Expertly advising the programme team and senior stakeholders
- Communicating clearly and succinctly to senior leaders, stakeholders, and individuals
- Coordinating all people change activity through to conclusion over a period of 12 to 15 months
The Ideal Candidate
The successful People Change Manager will have an expert knowledge of TUPE legislation and procedures as well as experience leading complex change programmes of 6 months plus.
Other skills required would include:
- Excellent communication skills - Able to explain complex matters clearly and succinctly
- Stakeholder Management - Building strong relationships with key stakeholders across HR, IT, and other departments to ensure alignment and manage expectations.
- A natural curiosity
- Strong attention to detail
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive plans for implementation, including timelines, resources, and milestones.
- Change Management - Implement strategies to manage change within the organisation
- Problem Solving - Address issues and obstacles that arise during the implementation process and find creative solutions to keep the project moving forward.
- Experience in planning and managing change and business adoption activities.
- Strong proficiency with MS Office 365 (Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint).
- Strong business insight and judgment to navigate ambiguity and lead through change in a fast-paced environment.
