Pensions Project Manager
Are you a driven and proactive Project Manager, looking or a new challenge? Can you manage a variety of pension projects, and collaboratively work with a diverse team to deliver to time, cost and quality?
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Data Solutions Team, within Aon's UK Retirement business. This is a newly created team which brings together pension specialists from across our business to deliver project work for clients.
This is a hybrid opportunity with flexibility to work both virtually and from one of our UK office locations.

What the day will look like
The role will vary in breadth, depending on the complexity of the project, but primarily you will be responsible for delivery a portfolio of revenue-generating client projects. You'll ensure that all workstreams are managed and anticipated benefits are delivered to the agreed timescales, resource plan and financial budgets.
- You will ensure all projects are clearly defined during initiation, monitoring progress, and will manage reporting throughout the project lifecycle
- You will manage projects and take appropriate action to manage expectations, deadlines, budgetary plans, process efficiency, ensuring Aon technology solutions are observed and delivered
- You will proactively manage risk and change control on all projects
- You will shape the project structure and actively engage with stakeholders in managing escalations, priorities and resolving project issues

As a result, the demand for efficiently managed and successfully delivered pension project work has never been greater.
As a Project Manager within the Data Solutions Team, you will get the opportunity to interact with a wide range of colleagues and teams within the UK Retirement business on the delivery of client projects. You'll join a team near the start of its journey have a significant influence on its direction and impact.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Project management experience across a variety of projects
- Previous experience in pensions administration or wider pensions industry
- Good understanding of MS products such as Project, Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to provide ongoing quality
- Qualified or studying towards a project management qualification such as PRINCE2 or Agile.
- Experience in, or knowledge of, GMP Equalisation and/or Risk Settlement activity would be an advantage.
