Do you have lived experience of drug and alcohol recovery?
Are you ready to give something back? Do you want to develop your skills and take on a bit of challenge?
We are looking female Peer Mentors with previous lived experience to become part of our team in Gravesend.
Responsibilities
It's often overwhelming for people to make changes in their lives. You can help by giving your time as a volunteer peer mentor.
This can include supporting them to attend a group or appointment or just checking in with them to see how they are getting on once they have left the service. You will be a positive influence to the mentee motivating, encouraging, and inspiring them to reach their potential.
You will be provided with all the skills, training and regular 1.2.1 support needed to help you carry out the role. This is the perfect role for someone who wants to be a positive role model, has a passion for supporting others and wants to make a difference.
