We are seeking a talented and motivated Payments Manager to join our growing team. You'll be a key player in optimising and scaling our payment operations, responsible for overseeing daily execution and ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and security of our payment processes.
What You'll Be Doing: In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing and improving daily payment operations, managing queues, and ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
- Serving as the primary escalation point for all payment-related incidents, leading swift resolution and conducting root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Leading the successful execution of critical payment-related projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Working cross-functionally with product, technology, compliance, and customer success teams to align on strategic objectives and ensure seamless execution.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing clear and concise reports on project status and operational performance.
What You Need:
- Proven experience in a payment operations or similar role within a fast-paced FinTech.
- A strong understanding of cross-border payment systems, multi-currency processes, and FX operations.
- Demonstrable success in managing operational projects and driving process improvements.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools like Excel/Gsheets and SQL.
