Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa's network clients, including both financial services and merchants. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing, operational and macroeconomics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients.

VCA Managed Services (VMS) is an augmentation of Visa's consultancy offering, supporting the execution and implementation of recommendations to help scale competitive advantage and operate to succeed in the digital age.

We are looking for a Payments Product Manager with a strong background in payments or financial services to form an integral part of our product team, leading multiple product development work streams within a key Visa client in the UK. We are passionate about providing an outstanding client experience, delivering Visa products and service offerings that improve efficiency and drive value for everyone! What we expect of you, day to day:

• Provide Strategic Thinking: Build compelling product roadmaps, leading and prioritising backlogs and articulating an exciting product vision.

• Promote Collaboration: with key individuals across both Visa and the client. Product, marketing, compliance, legal, and other business SMEs are your key partners, you will influence to ensure alignment and support towards the product vision.

• Open Communication: Ensure the product backlog is visible, open, and clear to all, including dependencies and priorities based on the overall strategy.

• Understand Requirements: Work with key business collaborators to elicit, analyse, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, information and systems to achieve final technology/business solution.

• Facilitate Effective Delivery: Provide input and oversight in planning and execution of delivery to ensure it accurately represents the product vision.

• Champion Customer First: Collaborate with customer research and design to ensure product requirements are aligned with customer needs.

• Drive Successful Outcomes: Support go-to-market launch strategy.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

What we're after...

Essential:

• Successful track record of launching consumer centric digital products or features in a bank, fintech or a payments company.

• Proven capability to efficiently manage projects from design through to completion.

• Deep practical knowledge of multiple delivery methods (SAFe Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall) and associated industry leading software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).

• Flexible approach to working to match our various clients, but with strong emphasis on collaborative communication and taking ownership for delivery.

• Ability to tailor the presentation of analysis, requirements and recommendations for various audience levels depending on seniority and technical proficiency.

• Broad awareness of relevant marketing techniques and experience providing marketing with insights on key differentiators and messages.

• Strong consultative skills to build relationships and influence mutually beneficial outcomes across organisations.

• Excellent storyteller, conveying interpretation of evidence and analysis against strategic objectives resulting in explicit recommended actions.

Desirable:

• Awareness of the key drivers of profitability and how to calculate it.

• Background in customer behaviours and psychology.

• Understanding of best practice testing approaches for product development and creation of supporting acceptance criteria.

• Thought leader with the ability to guide, influence, and inspire performance across the product development landscape.
