Job Title: Patient Dining & Hospitality Manager

Location: London

Salary: 33,000 to 40,000 PA

Hours: 40 hours per week, 5/7 days

Contract: Full-Time / Permanent

Our private hospital, located in the heart of London, is renowned for providing world-class healthcare in a luxurious and comfortable setting. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional patient care, and our dining and hospitality services are key elements of the patient experience. We are seeking a Patient Dining & Hospitality Manager to lead and elevate these services, ensuring that our patients receive outstanding care both medically and in terms of their dining experience.

As the Patient Dining & Hospitality Manager, you will oversee all aspects of patient dining, room service, and hospitality operations. Your role will be to ensure that our patients enjoy a premium, personalised dining experience, with meals that are not only delicious but also tailored to individual dietary needs. You will also manage a team of service professionals, delivering five-star hospitality across the hospital to enhance patient comfort and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of patient dining services, ensuring meals are prepared and delivered to the highest standards.
  • Ensure all guests receive a warm welcome and personalized service throughout their stay.
  • Work closely with chefs, dietitians, and clinical teams to ensure the menus cater to the dietary and nutritional needs of patients.
  • Ensure a seamless room service operation, providing timely and professional service to patients and visitors.
  • Lead and inspire the hospitality team, providing training and support to ensure excellence in service delivery.
  • Maintain high levels of food hygiene and safety across all dining and kitchen operations.
  • Regularly review and improve the patient dining experience, incorporating patient feedback and identifying areas for enhancement.
  • Manage stock levels, budgets, and procurement to ensure cost-effective and efficient kitchen operations.
  • Foster a culture of exceptional service, ensuring that all patient interactions with dining and hospitality staff are positive and supportive of their recovery.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in hospitality management, preferably within a healthcare setting, hotel, or high-end service environment.
  • Strong understanding of nutrition, dietary requirements, and food safety regulations.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience in managing and motivating teams to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clinical teams and other departments.
  • Organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for enhancing the patient experience through exceptional dining and hospitality services.
