We arerecruiting for a Pastoral Manager, Behaviour at Charles Read Academy, based in Corby Glen,Lincolnshire.

37 hours per week, 39 weeks term time, permanent contract.
To assist in delivering the academy behaviour policy.
• Monitor student behaviour and make the necessary interventions when appropriate.
• Work with other agencies that support individual students.
• To promote inclusion and acceptance of students
• To motivate students, to promote and reinforce self-esteem
• To participate in the induction of students at the start of the year and in year as
necessary
• To participate in the comprehensive assessment of students to determine those in need
of particular help
• To participate in producing an action plan/safety plan/well-being plan as appropriate
with students, parents and teachers
• To respond to staff requests for behavioural support in lessons advising on strategies,
providing in class observation, removing student and supervising as necessary.
We arelooking for a strong and experienced Pastoral Manager to provide excellentstudent support so they can be successful and follow the academy behaviourpathways.

Salary & Benefits
• Payscale: NJC15 £30,024.00 per annum FTE.
Actual salary £26,372.00 per annum based on working 37 hours, 39 weeks term time.

Who we are looking for
We require an enthusiastic and highly committed person whowill be an excellent Pastoral Manager.
The successful candidate will ideally:
- Have experience of working with young peopleaged 11-19 in a secondary school
- Have a willingness to undertake further workrelated training
- Have good ICT skills or be willing to learn(including using Microsoft Word and Excel)
Have knowledge and understanding of strategies to overcomebarriers to learning, and poor behaviour and/or have a willingness towork with a team who leads behaviour modifications
Have the ability to work flexibly as part of a team
Good organisation, time management, communication andinterpersonal skills
Be willing to undertake first aid training
Have a commitment to inclusion;
Help foster a culture of high expectations
Have a commitment to the school's ethos and vision
Be able to establish strong relationships with students andstaff
Model professional standards across all areas of work.
