Position

We are looking for a Pastoral Care and Respite Manager to manage the Pastoral Care and Administration of the Respite service, and support the growth of the developing respite service.

Pastoral Care Duties

  • Act as the face of Henshaws, managing communications, with parents and other external professionals
  • Make professional contributions to Education, Health and Care Plan reviews.
  • Set up and manage service level agreements with Parents/Carers, College Lead, Principal, and Director of Care and Health Services.
  • Determine and manage measures of satisfaction, and evaluate with Parent/Carers, ensuring performance meets the expected standards of delivery.
  • Produce performance statistics and report to the leadership team.

Respite Duties

  • Manage growth of the service, liaising with different departments as necessary.
  • Work with the College Leadership team to coordinate assessments for day and overnight stays.
  • Drafting and issuing of Contracts.
  • Conduct final pre-stay check with Parents/Carers one week in advance to confirm.
  • Product performance statistics for reporting to the College Senior Leadership Team, Governors and Trustees.

Salary: £14.14 per hour/ £27,205.36 per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week

Weeks per Year: 52 weeks per year

Holiday Weeks : 5 weeks plus 10 days bank holidays

Closing Date: Monday 6th January 2025

Interview Date: Wednesday 15th January 2025

Requirements

  • Educated to Level 3 or above
  • Higher Level qualification in Management or Administration is desirable
  • Experience of dealing with customer dissatisfaction
  • Driving License, or access to a vehicle for business use.
