Partnerships Marketing Manager

Department: Marketing

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: London

Reporting To: Head of Marketing

Compensation: GBP 65,000 - GBP 75,000 / year

Description

Hey I'm Kristin, the Head of Marketing at Pinpoint.

We're a fully remote, UK-based, HR-tech startup founded in 2017 and growing 100% YoY. We're looking to hire our first Partnerships Manager to own our existing (~50) integration & referral partnerships, including:

  • Integrations with HR systems like Gusto, BambooHR, and ADP
  • Integrations with candidate assessment providers like Bryq
  • Integrations with background check providers like Certn and Zinc

Check out the full list of existing Pinpoint integrations.

We need someone to own the full partner lifecycle, including providing essential project management, strengthening partner relationships, and implementing internal processes that will help us grow in the future. Their main focus for this year will be improving our integration processes, training the internal team on partnerships (and building out documentation), and generating brand awareness through co-marketing (e.g. sending CEO to podcasts and events, inviting partners to contribute to our podcast and content, gathering quotes for white papers).

About the Role:

  • Main goals for this role this year:
    • Improve the process for integrations
    • Generate brand awareness through co-marketing
    • Improve training & documentation
  • Manage every part of the partner lifecycle, from acquisition to relationship building to delivering joint results
  • Take over our existing partner ecosystem-about 50 today and growing, roughly ten we have the strongest relationships with
  • Acquire new integration partnerships on schedule with our integration roadmap-including some large companies that will be difficult to get the attention of
  • Manage partner onboarding-exchange technical documentation, marketing assets, and team training as needed
  • Be a responsive point of contact for partners and someone they enjoy working with
  • Create and maintain internal-facing and external-facing documentation
  • Train internal teams about integrations and other partners that can help us meet the needs of our customers, ultimately sending referrals to those partners
  • Travel up to 1x per month within the UK, and 1-2x per year to the US, to meet up with partners face-to-face in their offices or at events
  • Serve as project manager for co-marketing initiatives, collaborating with the rest of the marketing team to deliver projects-e.g. gathering quotes for white papers, working with Demand Generation Manager to tee up social media posts, coordinating involvement with podcasts and events.

About You:

  • You have 2+ years of experience managing a high volume of integration and referral partnerships for a tech product as part of a small team (bonus points for startup experience)
  • You have 5+ years of experience in sales or other relevant roles (Project Manager, Product Manager, Marketing, Customer Success, Account Management) at companies similar to Pinpoint
  • You have experience with both the acquisition and account management side of partnerships, and you're excited to manage the full partner lifecycle
  • You always look to provide value to partners first before asking for value in return
  • You know how to use creativity and persistence to acquire large, difficult-to-reach integration partners
  • You're extremely organized and great at managing projects across teams
  • You enjoy travel to meet up with partners in-person
  • You have good judgment about when to send the CEO to meet a partner instead of going yourself, and you're comfortable organizing that trip
  • You enjoy training internal teams and partners' teams, and you're not shy about speaking to groups of 30+ people on Zoom or in-person
  • You have strong writing skills and write like you speak-you roll your eyes at business buzzwords
  • You're based in the UK with availability to travel up to 25%

What We Offer:

We're committed to being an exceptional workplace and company for whom you are proud to work. To that end, we offer some great benefits, including:

  • Gold-plated healthcare: Enjoy the best medical, dental, and optical coverage money can buy. We've got you and your family covered for all eventualities
  • Unlimited holidays: Everyone needs a healthy, happy, and productive life without restrictive holiday limits

  • Generous paid parental leave: To help support new parents in the workplace, we offer up to 16 weeks of paid leave

  • Top-of-the-line equipment: We'll set you up with the right tools to do your best work-starting with a MacBook Pro, 4K monitors, and the right software to get the job done
  • A team that cares: You'll be joining a team of intelligent, capable, and helpful people that want you to win, our clients to be wowed, and our business to grow
