Partner Sales Manager

Role responsibilities

  • Establish a business development plan for a territory of GSI/Partner & ISV customers with the goal of increasing a Rayo attach rate. This includes developing detailed account plans to track the progress of each ISV solution provider and achievement to goals. Execute this plan while working with key internal stakeholders (e.g. sales, marketing)
  • Achieve revenue targets and work with the partner to achieve/exceed goals.
  • Build deep relationships with Partners in your territory to fully understand their business and technical needs
  • Drive business development initiatives with your customers and ensure that Rayo/AWS is their preferred approach.
  • Provide technical and architectural resources to assist your customers customers in the adoption of AWS and their delivery of solutions to market
  • Manage and keep track of the Rayo AWS APN status with a path to Premier status
  • Manage and close a pipeline of business
  • Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team.
  • Manage complex contract negotiations and serve as a liaison to legal.

Requirements

  • Significant Partner management or business development experience in the software/technology industry.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences.
  • Strong program management skills with a focus on delivering scalable programs supporting hundreds of customers/partners.
  • Strong technical acumen, with a demonstrated track record of driving emerging/disruptive technologies like Cloud, AI and SaaS
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
