What you'll do

The Partner Manager, MVNO will be accountable for implementing the partner strategy for Wholesale. The role holder will own several strategic relationships from a commercial perspective for partners selling Vodafone Fixed Solutions as well as supporting the Senior Partner Manager and Head of Wholesale in building successful long-term partnerships with these customers.

This role will also be accountable for the delivery of significant revenue, margin and customer experience targets within the business plan for each strategic partner they manage as well as identifying potential new partners and working with the commercial team to win new business.

The role holder will gather and translate insights from their partners and the wider market to inform a clear vision for the account and contribute to the creation, agreement and execution of an effective strategy and business plan. Key accountabilities include:

  • Work at multiple levels within the Wholesale team to help define and plan the direction for the Partner in line with Vodafone's future strategy, with a strong focus on driving innovation, change and profitable revenue growth
  • Drive the partner to achieve revenue and margin targets - leveraging all opportunities to drive and facilitate growth
  • Identify and negotiate, with the support of the commercial team, to win new business opportunities of sufficient scale to drive profitable growth
  • Actively contribute to the internal business planning process through a robust approach to account planning
  • Ensure that the strategy of the partner is clearly understood and shared within the Wholesale team and that the Vodafone delivery roadmap is aligned to maximise opportunities for growth (including additional products and propositions)
  • Ensure that Vodafone delivers on all partner contractual commitments on time and without penalty
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships within the wider broadband ecosystem, including but not limited to router manufacturers and billing and e-commerce platform vendors, such that you can support the onboarding and growth of new broadband partners as well as reciprocal lead generation

Who you are

  • Proven internal and external stakeholder management skills at all levels
  • The ability to demonstrate significant account management experience with proven results
  • A track record of delivery against significant revenue and margin targets.
  • Proven experience in virtual team creation in order to meet client requirements
  • Experience of working with complex commercial structures to drive business and customer/partner performance
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
