Senior Debt Recovery Litigation Paralegal - Salary: £27,500 to £30,000 depending on experience. We also welcome more experienced applicants and will consider salary based on the level of experience you bring.
We're looking for an experienced Senior Paralegal to join our dynamic and forward thinking Litigation team. This is a hands on role where you'll manage your own caseload, support junior team members, and work with your client to progress cases and take instruction, while continuing to coach and develop junior paralegals day to day - perfect for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with people leadership.

Our Litigation team is engaging, supportive and collaborative. What you'll be doing:
As a Senior Paralegal, you'll take ownership of your own portfolio of non standard defended County Court claims across a variety of sectors. You'll act as the first point of escalation for Grade 2 Paralegals, offering hands on guidance, quality assurance and technical support to help them develop and deliver consistently high quality work.
Working closely with the Technical Litigation Manager, you'll also play a key role in shaping how the team operates. This includes contributing to:
- Training and upskilling colleagues
- Client onboarding and process refinement
- Precedent development and maintenance
- Continuous improvement initiatives across the Litigation function
This blend of technical casework, leadership and operational input makes the role ideal for someone who enjoys both complex litigation and helping others grow.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage a varied personal caseload of technical defended litigation matters
- Develop and support Grade 2 Paralegals, including first line escalation and coaching
- Carry out quality checks on correspondence and instructions drafted by junior colleagues
- Support training delivery, client onboarding, precedents and team briefings
- Monitor compliance, SLAs and procedural deadlines
About you:
- At least 3 years' experience as a Paralegal, managing your own caseload
- Law degree (or GDL) and undertaking or completed SQE / LPC / CILEX Level 6
- Confident supervising others and providing constructive feedback
- Strong organisational, communication and drafting skills

Your core working week will be 6 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with two options to suit your routine: 9:30am - 3:30pm or 10:00am - 4:00pm.

The role offers a salary from £27,500 to £30,000 per annum, depending on your skills and experience. You'll also benefit from annual salary reviews designed to recognise your contribution and reward your continued success.
