We're looking for a growth obsessed Paid Search Manager, responsible for optimising and delivering the on the paid search strategy globally. Working alongside the wider Marketing and Demand Gen teams you will collaborate across functions to ensure the Paid strategy meets the needs of the rapidly growing business.
Reporting to the Fractional Head of Growth, you'll be responsible for managing our paid search accounts, driving improved ROAS and pipeline. Your plans will both inform and align with the wider paid and website team.
Two years ago, paid search was the sole paid channel for Exclaimer. Since then, we have diversified our marketing channels but still have a dependency on paid search. While we expect this channel to continue being a key driver for business growth, this role is expected to take responsibility for the spend in this channel as part of the wider the paid mix. There still remains a huge opportunity to grow ROI from these channels. We expect this role to also consider the balance between Paid Search spend and organic SEO efforts, with a view to collaborate and prioritise dependent on our keyword performance. This role will be working closely with other marketing teams to ensure results are reported, analysed and interpreted correctly.
Key Responsibilities (What you will be doing)
- Paid Search Planning / Strategy: Ideate, strategize, implement and measure campaigns across the Paid Media ecosystem;
- Paid Search Campaign Management: Make sure that paid search driving more profitable deals rather than number of form submissions;
- Lead audience research and implementation / measurement and develop utilization. Manage day-to-day performance across several paid media channels including Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, other search and display advertising platforms.
- Day-to-day optimization and monitoring of Paid Media platforms, with a focus on upper and lower funnel performance
- Report on what's working and what's working on creative, copy, landing page levels; create briefs based on data.
- Spend recommendations: Ensure allocated budget is assigned based on platform, regional, segment performance to drive maximum results.
Skills & Experience (About you)
- 3+ years hands on experience in managing paid search accounts with a focus on digital acquisition for a B2B SaaS business;
- Quality over quantity mindset, you'll not be expected to maximize the number of form submissions, you'll be expected to think strategically and optimize campaigns for more qualified deals and better pipeline;
- Ability to report on and recommend adjustments to strategy in line with business objectives.
- Excellent knowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads, Looker, SEMrush, PowerBI. A+ if you have used 6Sense before;
- Commercially astute and business-minded, having the company's ROI as the key driver of success. Taking responsibility for allocation of spend
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders.
