ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Paid Digital Marketing Manager to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover contract, ideally starting in March 2025. This role is all about understanding our customers and then marketing to them across the entire digital funnel. It's a big role that works on multiple channels to attract new customers to the brand through marketing and insight, and then bring them back in through remarketing and other campaigns to drive repeat purchase. As a purpose-led brand we are big on building advocates - so the right candidate will have a deep understanding of the performance channels, and how Brand fits into the mix.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for implementing a paid digital marketing strategy that drives our brand and business targets (TOF through to BOF and repeat). The strategy will be set by our Senior Paid Digital Marketing Manager prior to her maternity leave.
- Responsible for driving digital customer acquisition that meets our financial forecasts, including budget management and communication around over/underspends.
- Responsible for leading on our customer insights through consistent data analysis and reporting. You are able to take complex data and turn it into actionable insights that drive business results.
- Responsible for managing our digital agency partner (PPC, Paid Social) and ensuring they are set up to be successful, whilst also held accountable for reaching the goals we set together.
- Analysis of Google Ads & Meta Platforms to ensure campaigns/strategies are implemented correctly and feeding back additional optimisations and opportunities to the agency.
- Responsible for managing feed agency and making sure everything is pulling through on GMC & Meta Catalogue as it should be.
- Maintaining strong relationships with Meta & Google platform managers.
- Responsible for weekly and monthly reporting on all spend and the results, ensuring that the most appropriate metrics are used (and that they are agreed to by the leadership team).
- Responsible for managing our Paid Digital Executive - ensuring they are delivering in their day-to-day role but also developing and learning as they go.
- Working closely with internal teams, especially Ecom and CRM, to ensure end-to-end ad journey is as efficient as it could be, from the audience we're targeting to on-site experience
Requirements
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO FINISTERRE
- Experienced in the world of Performance & Brand Digital Marketing, specifically Paid Search & Paid Social.
- Hands on experience using Meta & Google Ads platforms.
- Strong analytical and excel skills, ideally experience using Google Analytics 4.
- Excellent and clear communicator and confident presenting to internal teams.
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
- Team player, that's highly organised and able to adapt in fast-paced environment.
- Passion, energy and aspiration in line with Finisterre values, products, brand and customers
- Excellent self-awareness, communication and interpersonal skills
- Thrives on positive change and able to manage self and others under pressure

We are offering a full time, 12-month fixed term contract, based at our Headquarters at Wheal Kitty, St Agnes, Cornwall or based remotely in London. Travel between our HQ and London will be required.
We'll invest in you with a competitive salary, circa £35,000 - £50,000, based on your location and depending on your skills and experience.
