About The Role

Personalised Learning Dorset are a dedicated mentoring and re-engagement service supporting young people in Dorset, Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch and Wiltshire. We work with young people in their homes and communities as well as at our modern, purpose built Blandford Hub in order to give them the confidence and skills to take the next step in their educational journey.

Following increasing demand PLD are hiring Outreach Mentors to join our team of dedicated professionals. Are you are a creative, diligent professional with a proven track record of working with young people with SEN and SEMH needs? If so, we would love to hear from you.

As well as wanting to hear from colleagues already working in alternative provision, this role would be ideally suited for those with a pastoral/teaching assistant background who may be looking to apply their skills in a new setting. You must be a confident practitioner and be comfortable working as either a 1:1 or as a small group leader.

The role offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive, personalised training program for the successful applicant. We are happy to consider part time hours for the right candidates.
