About the Role
Base Location: Flexible UK & Ireland | We're proud to offer a Flexible First approach to work, and this role is no exception. We will, however need your base 'home' location to be one of our SSE offices or depots around the UK and Ireland.
Salary: £47,6000 - £71,600 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
Working Pattern: 2 year Fixed Term Contract
The Digital Services team are expanding and currently recruiting for an Operational Technology (OT) Service Delivery Manager.
As the Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of service delivery, from planning and implementation to operational handover and ongoing support for our portfolio of products and services.
You will act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, ensure that services are delivered efficiently, meet contractual obligations, and exceed client expectations.
Your goal is to maintain high service standards while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Accountabilities:
Responsible for managing end-to-end service delivery and operations for Operational Technology products and Smart Infra services.
- Ensures service delivery meets any agreed Operational or Service Level Agreements, spanning in-house support functions and Third-Party providers.
- Develop mechanisms and reporting to measure effectiveness of service delivery, leveraging KPI's and operational metrics to establish service quality.
- Develops and implements service management processes, policies, and standards, aligning to ITSM standards and direction.
- Monitors service performance, availability, incidents, problems, changes, capacity, continuity.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Knowledge, experience, and a strong track record in a related Operational or IT Service Management position, ideally within a complex, multi-platform environment.
- Enterprise experience in IT/OT service delivery and operations. Experience across the service lifecycle is preferred.
- Experience with ITSM frameworks and processes like ITIL, COBIT, etc.
- Proven track record of managing end-to-end service delivery and meeting SLAs.
- Exposure to various service delivery models - in-house, outsourced, hybrid.
- Knowledge of the Energy Sector
