The team

The OD Senior Manager will report to the Head of Group Organisation Design and Development within the People Function Centre of Excellence. Operationally the role will work closely with the Transformation Office. There will be regular engagement with leadership roles throughout ITV.

The role

The role will be focused on supporting the transformation function by working with HRBP's and business leaders to redesign business units on a simpler, more efficient and lower cost base. The role will be focused on setting up effective and simple reporting mechanisms that will enable efficient monitoring of the size and shape of the organisation as we move towards the future state.

Key responsibilities

  • Organisational design compliance: where OD structures have already been signed off and implemented, ensure adherence to the agreed structure by tracking and reporting on leavers, joiners and new vacancies in order to maintain alignment with cost reduction targets and role specifications.

  • Where third party providers have been contracted to provide new organisation designs as part of other programmes, stay informed as to their progress and then support implementation of the new structures once they have been provisionally agreed

  • Cost management: work with the FP&A Lead to ensure cost metrics related to organisation changes are accurately tracked, ensuring transparency and accountability through the programme's lifecycle.

  • Ensure critical risks, dependencies and issues arising from the organisational design work are raised, tracked and proactively managed to resolution

  • Organisation design partnering: where business areas are tasked to redesign their operating model in order to reduce cost, support Head of OD and D and People Business Partners with the relevant business lead to identify new and efficient organisational structures and/or processes, focusing on cost reduction and operational effectiveness.

  • Organisational design implementation: where new organisational structures have been provisionally agreed, work with the Head of OD and D and People Business Partners to implement any relevant changes to the structure (redundancies, role changes, etc) and with the Change Management Lead to make a plan to ensure change is managed effectively

  • Support the creation of organisation design principles for the Business Simplification Programme and assist with implementation and adoption

  • Support the creation and maintenance of a target end state design for the start of FY27

  • Manage a complex, stakeholder environment, at all levels

Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)

  • Proven experience in organisational design, preferably within a cost reduction or restructuring context
  • Strong understanding of organisational design principles and cost management
  • Excellent data, analytical and reporting skills
  • The ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and simple manner. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed and timely decisions, especially in high-pressure situations.

Other things we're looking for (key criteria)

  • Experience of working, and owning relationships with, senior leaders and executives
  • Clear evidence of experience partnering and building relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders at all levels, winning hearts and minds
  • Media experience is preferred
  • Project Management experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of Oracle Fusion
