About the role...
As Operations Support Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing a range of support services across your aligned division, ensuring operational teams receive the guidance and resources they need to perform effectively. You'll lead compliance efforts related to operative competence, manage regional operations support teams, and-within the Water division-take ownership of Ipsum's Estates data. This role plays a key part in maintaining high standards, driving consistency, and supporting the smooth delivery of services across the business
As a Operations Support Administrator you will...
- Manage training processes for divisional employees, including internal/external courses and system records.
- Oversee authorisation, identity, and security clearance documentation for operatives.
- Coordinate the issue and tracking of tools, equipment, and PPE across the division.
- Maintain and publish site data for Ipsum's estate portfolio.
- Ensure accurate recording of audit and inspection reports in line with contract requirements.
- Lead regional operations support teams, maintaining high data standards and operative compliance.
- Manage shared services such as centralised hotel bookings and support the Group Operations Support Manager when needed.
- Build and maintain supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective, high-quality training delivery.
- Produce regular reports on compliance risks, performance targets, and operational support activity.
- Promote and uphold health and safety standards, including risk assessments, safe practices, and proactive communication.
About you...
As an Operations Support Manager, you'll be calm under pressure, a clear communicator, and driven to improve processes. You'll bring strong customer focus, initiative, and the ability to support colleagues effectively. With experience managing teams in safety-critical environments and overseeing training operations, you'll also have solid knowledge of health and safety compliance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, and SharePoint experience is a plus.
