Salary:£47,600 - £71,600 + car /car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

SSEN Transmission is currently recruiting for an Operations Project Manager to lead project teams in the execution of operational improvement projects in the Asset Management and Operations (AM&O) team. The team is currently undergoing a significant period of change, both in the way we work and the technologies we use. This is an excellent opportunity to influence this change.

The key duties & responsibilities of the Operations Project Manager are:

- Accountability to the Lead Operations Project Manager for delivery and support of a variety of projects, including Transformation, Innovation and Network Resilience projects.

- Support the delivery of our Business Plans, including project development, optioneering and the production of supporting documentation.

- Analysing external benchmarking results to identifying opportunities for improvement and obtaining stakeholder buy-in to develop and implement the change.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Project Management or performance improvement experience, preferably within the Utilities Industry. Operational experience would be highly beneficial but not required.

- Excellent verbal and written communication and solid presentation skills. You need to make the work that we are doing visible and engaging.

- The ability to work independently and manage your time over a wide variety of projects is vital. Candidates should have experience working with multi-skilled teams or a variety of stakeholders and should be comfortable challenging the status quo.
