We are recruiting a permanent Operations Manager, you will lead the operational delivery of our Social Care Accounts Service. Your role will be pivotal in promoting financial inclusion, maximizing income for vulnerable adults and carers, and ensuring efficient business processes that support Adult Social Care. You will work closely with the Service Manager and key partners to deliver high-quality services and drive continuous improvement.
The Social Care Accounts Service covers financial assessments and debt management in Adults Social Care. The service is also responsible for managing the personal funds of over 1000 people acting as corporate deputy or appointee.
You will be responsible for line management of 6 managers over 3 teams with a total of over 50 staff between them.

Full-time employees work 37 hours for 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement. We are open to discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities which benefit you and the Council, including reduced hour contracts, working part time or as a job share.
If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide pay slip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
