Operations Manager- North

The Operations Manager will lead a diverse team that covers children and adult services within the private and public sector, Mental Health and Adult LD clients in a 24/7, 7 day a week service.

The post-holder will have extensive experience of leading clinical and operational teams. As the Operations Manager, you will ensure delivery of high quality, safe and effective care to clients in line with the Quality Commission (CQC) regulations and guidelines across the organisation.

This role will be remote, with the expectation travel nationally, particularly across the North of England.

The post-holder will need to have a UK Driving licence and access to a car.

Your role will focus on:

Client Delivery and Partnerships

  • Responsibility for the mental health nursing and mental health support worker teams and applying the highest standards of modern and professional practice.
  • Ability to undertake client assessments
  • To ensure that staff deliver high quality and personalised care to our clients within the public sector in their own homes.
  • Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders by understanding their point of view, culture, and purpose and what the business is trying to achieve.
  • Develop policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the service is running at the highest quality and build in check points with customers to ensure quality of delivery is excellent.
    Leadership
  • Ensure the service delivers the clinical and operational strategy providing clear vision and leadership.
  • Be an ambassador for the Claimont Heath group services working to improve the brand at every opportunity. Be an experienced leader in remote and distance management with models to engage and develop a remote workforce.
  • Ability to line manage teams to ensure high level cover is always in place to meet the demand of the service.

Expertise and Essential skills

  • Experience of working with adults and children
  • Be an experienced leader in remote and distance management with models to engage and develop a remote workforce
  • Ability to problem solve and be solution-based person.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and reasoning skills.
  • Ability to produce and analyse business management information.
  • Experience of relationship and contract management within the Mental Health sector
