About this Role
Weare seeking to appoint a professional and enthusiastic individual as they have akey role in supporting the day to day running of the school and ensuring thekey business areas are managed. These would include Finance, HR, Estates and Healthand Safety. The post holder would also be the primary liaison point between theSchool and Central Support functions. Candidates should be able to demonstrateexperience of working with finance and budgets.
Experienceof working within a busy office environment and excellent communication skillsare essential. Also, being able to work flexibly and meet constantly changingpriorities is essential. The post holder will deal with day to day issues atthe school and therefore will need to have a flexible approach to work and bewilling to take on a wide range of tasks.
Thesuccessful applicant will join a team of staff who are committed to supporting boththe development of the MAT and the school that they work in, ensuring itoperates efficiently and offers the best educational "experience" possible toall its students.

Finham Park is apopular and successful 11 -18 comprehensive school situated in the south-westof Coventry. It has an excellent reputation within the local community as wellas nationally and internationally with our staff are both dedicated and highlyqualified.

We offer high quality training not only to all staff within the school,but colleagues also across the city with a variety of opportunities andcourses. We cater for PGCE trainees and School Direct trainees; both routescomplement each other and the trainees gain from this experience. We are aSchool Direct hub for a number of local schools and therefore we organiseplacements across the city. The school benefits tremendously from our work withtrainees. Firstly, as a staff we are continuously developing the teaching andlearning in the classrooms and secondly there are opportunities to access newstaff into the profession when we have teacher vacancies.
A particular strength of the school is the comprehensive CPD programme.Finham Park believes in utilising its existing expertise from colleagues, andthus all staff are encouraged to offer CPD to the rest of the school.Therefore, weekly sessions of CPD are offered and staff sign up for their areasof interest. We have a broad induction programme for all new staff andtrainees. Finham Park has also been instrumental in creating Teaching andLearning Communities as part of our CPD programme. This follows the ideas andresearch of Dylan William. This has sustained a culture of curiosity and developmentin the classroom of which, we at Finham, are immensely proud.
