Operations Manager (9 Month Secondment)

Are you an experienced Casino Manager, or existing Operations Manager looking for a new challenge in a broad role across both gaming and hosting?

We're looking for an Operations Manager for our Grosvenor Plymouth Casino, initially on a 9 month secondment, to be responsible for maximising performance in all areas of your casino. You will make the difference by inspiring, motivating and leading this team to deliver high quality exciting and entertaining experiences to your customers.

You will;

  • Be responsible for delivering an excellent product and customer experience whilst upholding the principles of safer gambling through all gaming activities in the Casino.
  • Support the Management Team in driving the performance of the casino measured against a balanced scorecard of targets covering finance, customer service, and team metrics.
  • Champion and role model our values of Service, Teamwork, Ambition, Responsibility and Solutions
  • Help to build a highly capable management team who are fanatical about safer gambling, customer excellence and a quality product.
  • Assist the recruitment and development of a strong team of multi skilled employees ensuring they deliver the Grosvenor brand experience across gaming, leisure and food and beverage
  • Proactively drive sales and control margin and costs to drive casino profitability
  • Ensure your casino proactively complies with all regulation, particularly the Gaming Commission licensing requirements, and that you are a champion for safer gambling
  • Perform Duty Manager responsibility as per the weekly management rota.
  • Conduct/RecordEDD and RG conversations with customers
  • Be responsible for Customer Experience and Satisfaction Targets
  • Train and developthe Gaming Team with personal Development Plans in place for direct reports
  • Review labour costs and contracted hours for the gaming team
  • Manage gaming Revenue and Margin targets as well as Electronic Gaming revenues (where applicable)

Qualifications

Alongside previous casino management experience with excellent knowledge of all UK gaming activities, you'll be a current PML license holder with a customer-centric approach that will drive high engagement and confidence in your teams to provide first-class customer service that both excites and entertains.

As you'll be leading a team; you'll need the skills to coach and motivate your team, being able to lead by example and drive performance. You'll be apeople orientated, customer focused individual, with excellent organisational skills and good attention to detail.

Due to the nature of our business, flexibility to work evenings, nights and weekends is required.
