YOUR ROLE
Our operation based in Kettering is looking for a proactive Operations Manager to join the team where you oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring customer service excellence, and driving performance across safety, quality, financial, and delivery targets.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Reporting into the General Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day running of site operations, ensuring outstanding customer service while meeting and exceeding targets across safety, quality, financial performance, and delivery. You will play a key role in leading and developing a team of shift leaders, providing them with the right tools, training, and support to successfully manage their teams and deliver operational excellence.
With a strong focus on health and safety, continuous improvement, and employee engagement, you will foster a positive and high-performing culture that not only drives results but also develops future talent. You will be accountable for ensuring site operations consistently meet customer KPIs, driving efficiency through effective planning, auditing, and reporting, and working closely with the planning team to balance customer demand with logistics capability.
You will build and maintain strong customer relationships and deliver outstanding customer service. You will ensure compliance with all processes, policies, and industry standards. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our ideal candidate will have proven experience of leading teams and significant operational experience ideally within a fast-paced multi-channel 3PL operation.You will possess strong people management skills with the ability to coach and develop others and be a skilled decision maker who is able to interact and engage with colleagues at all levels.
You will bring strong communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. You will need be self-motivated, adaptable, and confident working with a wide range of individuals.
