Operations Manager - Nights
Salary: Competitive plus bonus, company car/cash allowance and pension

What you'll be doing;
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of waste collection and street cleaning services within a defined area.
- Monitor performance against service level agreements and take corrective action as necessary to ensure compliance.
- Manage staff resources, including scheduling, training, and personnel management.
- Ensure proper maintenance and deployment of equipment resources.
- Implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other departments within the organization to coordinate waste disposal activities.
- Responsible for the environment, health and safety and all relevant risk assessments, along with all employee relation issues.
What we're looking for;
- Previous management experience within a similar role is required.
- Ability to build strong relationships and deal effectively with people at different levels.
- Strong people management skills to lead and support the team.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Analytical and numerate with a good financial understanding.
- Report writing, communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in the waste management sector together with experience of managing within a unionised environment is desirable.
