The Role

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager to manage the day-to-day running of our CPM operations. You'll be responsible for ensuring service levels and production targets are consistently met while maintaining safety, quality and compliance standards.

Working closely with planning teams, you'll react quickly to volume changes and urgent customer requirements. As a leader of a team, you'll also play a key role in coaching, developing, and motivating your team to perform at their best.

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for a proactive, people-focused operations professional with experience in FMCG production environments.

You will bring:

• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop others
• Hands-on experience in managing production, ideally in a CPM setting
• A working knowledge of production management systems, databases and lean principles
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, with strong attention to detail
• Confident decision-making and a calm, focused approach under pressure
• Effective communication and influencing skills at all levels
• A track record of delivering results through team performance, process efficiency, and compliance

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage CPM operations within the Value Add division
• Ensure the consistent delivery of output, quality, safety, and compliance standards
• Manage team performance, timekeeping, attendance and engagement across all shifts
• Collaborate with planning to adjust production in response to demand changes
• Maintain steady production flow, stock rotation, and on-time delivery to internal and external customers
• Drive a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement

Summary

Take the lead in managing Sofina Foods' Centrally Packed Meat (CPM) operations within our Value Add department. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on delivering efficient, compliant, and high-performing production in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
