Pay Rate: £42,000 up to £44,000
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Any 5 out of 7 - will be a rotational shift pattern of Earlies and Lates
Location: Hatfield - AL10 8XF

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain management practices and a demonstrative understanding of storage and distribution procedures.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• Managing the operations warehouses, including assigning tasks, setting priorities, supervising the performance of duties, organising work in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Management of all areas of the logistics centre
• Active involvement in defining and overseeing KPI's.
• Initiating and supervising the implementation of appropriate countermeasures to disruptions that have occurred.
• Planning, together with the Operations Managers, the workflow, the necessary personnel, and technology

• Previous and practical experience as a warehouse operations manager or shift manager within a busy logistics environment.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to organise and train direct reports.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices
• People management and engagement experience
• Ability to develop colleagues and first line managers
