A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN OPERATIONS MANAGER AT THE MARINE HOTEL PAIGNTON

What you will be doing...

Reporting into Stephanie Taylor General Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following.

• Day to day line management of operations, carry out job chats, appraisals and departmental meetings accordingly.
• To have a high- profile presence within the operations, leading from the front and motivating the team to ensure they operate to the highest quality standards of product and services.
• Ensure a safe and secure environment for the guests, team members and hotels assist in compliance with the hotel's policies and procedure accordingly and to drive Health and safety amongst operational department to achieve positive Health and safety audits.
• Conduct a regular operations team meeting, Quality meetings, FLS meetings.
• Working closely with HR to organize training programs to enhance the job skills and performance of the hotel staff.
• Drive a great working environment for teams to thrive. Connect departments to create the sense of one team.
• Deputize in the absence of General Manager
