ESS has an exciting new opportunity in our Energy sector as an Operations Manager to develop and lead a team of managers across multiple contracts and provide exceptional service to our clients and manage the employee life cycle effectively. As an operations manager you will also manage client and contractual relationships, ensuring compliance and adherence to company policies in a commercial manner.

Key Accountabilities

  • Articulate the vision for the future, providing direction and purpose.
  • Formulate and implement strategies to achieve long-term goals and objectives.
  • Set clear, achievable goals and performance standards.
  • Track and assess progress towards business objectives, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Take responsibility for making informed and timely decisions.
  • Design and implement strategies for ongoing operational improvement and efficiencies.

Person Specification

  • Proven track record in a senior management role, demonstrating effective management of large teams and complex operations.
  • Senior management experience leading operational teams, working within brand guidelines to deliver results effectively.
  • Strong skills in strategic planning and operational management with a history of driving business objectives and achieving results.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities, including superior presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster innovation and lead initiatives that drive continuous improvement within an organisation.
  • In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to the industry.
  • Proven experience in managing substantial budgets, with strong financial acumen and a track record of fiscal responsibility.
