As part of the CMT Group, Safesmart Access UK are a global manufacturer of the safest, most efficient, and premium height access equipment in the world. With a HQ in Sydney AU, we are now looking to strengthen our UK team with an Operations Manager.

About the Role:

• You will take overall responsibility for the running of our Codham distribution centre and client service including: dispatch, logistics, purchasing, inventory, cost control, and yard management.
• Managing the current operations team, and additional team members as the team grows..
• We are an ambitious business with strong growth targets: there is scope for the role to take a wider role in opening and managing additional depots across the UK.

About You:

• Understanding of assembly and manufacture systems management.
• Ideally have experience in scaffold yard management, construction industry logistics.
• Proactive organisational and time management skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and Inventory Management
• Interested in innovation and product development.
• Problem-solving skills - can offer creative solutions.
• Excellent communicator with strong leadership and mentorship skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Self-driven and ability to work as part of a team going above and to achieve perfect delivery.
• Experience in international shipping and planning purchasing from overseas manufacturers.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a constantly evolving business.
