Overview

The Operations Finance Manager is a key role within Global Production Finance with responsibility for the financial performance, cost optimisation, and commercial reporting of Global Production Hubs. The role owns hub-level financial consolidation, supports global cost transformation programmes, and acts as the primary finance partner to the Operations Finance Director and the Global Production CFO.

Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting across all Global Production Hubs.
  • Perform detailed variance analysis versus budgets and rolling forecasts.
  • Provide financial performance insights and structured commentary to Global Production leadership.

Hub P&L Consolidation & Market Reporting

  • Own end-to-end consolidation of Global Production Hub P&Ls across multiple countries.
  • Lead preparation, governance, and maintenance of Global Production rate cards.
  • Manage communication to markets on rolling forecasts, budgets, reforecasts, staff utilization reports and performance trends.

Project Costing & Cost Optimisation

  • Lead financial modelling and business case development for Global Production cost optimisation initiatives.
  • Support offshore delivery strategies, automation programmes, and operating model redesign.
  • Track realised versus planned savings and report financial benefits to Global Production leadership.

Executive Finance Support

  • Act as the primary financial support for the Operations Finance Director and Global Production CFO.
  • Assist in preparing strategic financial analysis and investment cases.
  • Support ad-hoc Global Production commercial and operational finance initiatives.

Power BI & Reporting Automation

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards for Global Production hub performance, utilisation, margins, and cost drivers.
  • Ensure data accuracy, automation, and consistency across all Global Production reporting outputs.

Qualifications

  • Fully qualified accountant: ACCA, CIMA, CA/ACA.
  • 6-10+ years of experience in management accounting, FP&A, or operational finance.
  • Extensive experience in multi-entity P&L consolidation and Global Production or shared services environments.
  • Strong background in project costing, business case development, and cost optimisation.
  • Advanced Power BI dashboard development experience is mandatory.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability.
  • Experience operating in a global, matrix organisation.
  • Prior exposure to production, media, professional services, shared services, or outsourcing preferred.
  • Experience of SAP & HFM is ideal
