Are you experienced with the life cycle of Corporate Action and are passionate about improving processes? Then you found the right position for you!

As a Operations Announcement Asset Manager within the Announcement Capture Utility team, you will be responsible for the identification, capture and delivery of all Corporate Action event announcements for a wide range of internal clients. Adopting a collaborative approach the team manages complex and high risk Corporate Actions events across 100+ markets providing ongoing support throughout the Corporate Action event lifecycle. You will be part of this fast paced environment offering an opportunity to deepen your Asset Servicing knowledge whilst opening up opportunities to partner with teams across Securities Services.

Job responsibilities

  • Manages the workflow through the life cycle of Corporate Action and Income products
  • Aligns priorities of the team to the broader business strategy
  • Completes quality assurance of Corporate Action events for time, accuracy & quality of information
  • Identifies ways to improve the processes to enhanced quality and productivity
  • Resolves issues that present exposure to risk through technology & Operational procedure changes
  • Collaborates across teams to ensure client/customer/stakeholder needs are met
  • Communicates effectively by adapting message to different audiences and invite diverse perspectives
  • Identifies concerns, escalate issues early and assist in mitigating risk in a timely manner to prevent reoccurrence
  • Supports Audit tasks providing process overviews, documentation & proof to auditors
  • Supports the Global Contingency agenda to ensure recovery strategy is known, supported & tested
  • Ensures all daily controls and processing are completed and signed off including client service inquiry resolution as well as all key metrics produced as required

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Operational subject matter expertise in Corporate Actions
  • Experience in either Reconciliation, Settlements, Trade Support, Asset Servicing, Risk and Control, Custody, Front and Middle Office or Fund Accounting
  • Strong ability to learn ongoing stream of new markets, products, and processes
  • Strong risk and control awareness, ability to effectively priorities workloads and work to critical deadlines
  • Confident communicator in all mediums to both internal and external clients
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
  • Interest in learning 'Skills of the Future'
