The role
We are looking for an Operations and Compliance Facilities Manager to join our London based team on a full time, permanent basis.
As Operations and Compliance Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all statutory regulations, internal policies and procedures within ITV's buildings. Reporting to the Maintenance & Facilities Manager, you will lead from the front, being present on-site and engaging with all stakeholders to ensure the required level of service is delivered. You will be managing a dynamic and engaging Workplace Services Helpdesk Team looking at opportunities to expand the services and offerings that are currently provided.
This role is offered on a hybrid basis, with the successful candidate required to work onsite at our London White City office 4-5 days per week during the initial embedding stage. After this, a minimum of 3 days per week onsite will be required. The working hours for this role are 08:30-17:00, with the ability to be contacted outside of working hours for emergencies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and supervising the Workplace Services Helpdesk team to ensure adherence to processes, standards and deadlines and fostering a culture of excellence.
- Manage the implementation of the Preventative Maintenance program, ensuring its successful roll out throughout ITV's property portfolio.
- Ensuring the effective operation of key functional management systems, including CAFM, Compliance and Health and Safety Systems.
- Conduct regular internal audits to ensure ITV's statutory compliance obligations are being met.
- Track and report on key metrics.
- Be accountable for routine maintenance contracts, ensuring adherence and timely service visits.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of statutory regulations, ensuring the FM Team operates within the law.
- Conduct risk assessments for the engineering teams operations and oversee Health & Safety compliance.
- Manage/Support various projects associated with changes to ITV's buildings.
- Liaise with Landlords and comply with their different processes to enable access for Planned and Reactive Maintenance.
- Maintain accurate budget records.
- Ensure a safe working environment across ITV's buildings.
Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)
- Previous management experience within a Facilities Management environment.
- Ability and willingness to travel to our regional sites when required.
Other things we're looking for (key criteria)
- IWFM Level 3 and above is advantageous.
- NEBOSH General Certificate is advantageous.
- Auditing Qualification is advantageous.
- Environmental Qualification is advantageous.
- Hard Services Experience is advantageous.
- Ability to provide routine oral and written information clearly and concisely and to understand and explain technical terms.
- Ability to maintain accurate and up to date knowledge of services available, ensuring that the experience of each client is positive.
- Able to contribute to the adaptation of services and systems in order to meet clients' needs and to help identify ways of improving standards.
- Ability to distinguish between the need to make a decision and when to defer, also contributing to the decision-making of others by providing relevant information and opinions.
