An exciting opportunity has arisen to join The London Clinic in a new role, transforming and improving our haematology and oncology service, reporting to our Director of Clinical Services, you will be key in driving change and working with our teams to ensure continuous improvement.
Main duties of the job
* Provide leadership, as part of the haematology and oncology leadership structure, to deliver operational transformation projects, ensuring efficient and effective clinical services. * Plan, develop, deliver and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure effective, timely and patient focused specialist haematology/oncology services. * Together with the clinical directors, nursing and AHP leads, engage teams to continually improve quality of care and patient experience for haematology and oncology services.

The role will provide transformational leadership and development to support the operational efficiency and delivery of cancer services in Haematology and Oncology services, ensuring and being accountable for high quality, cost effective services. The oncology transformation manager is responsible for designing and implementing changes to optimize the oncology service delivery model. They work with the MDT to identify opportunities for improvement and to ensure that the changes are effectively communicated and implemented. We are looking for someone who is collaborative, energetic and motivated to deliver improvements across cancer services, to work together with our talented team of clinicians, nurses and support staff. In addition, the post holder will identify and mitigate risks associated with the transformation process. They must have experience in working in oncology services, strong project management skills, be able to work well under pressure and be able to communicate effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders. This exciting new role will focus initially on operational priorities and will progress to providing valuable input into the longer term strategy for these services.

This role is based at The Duchess of Devonshire Wing (Cancer Centre) in London, W1G 6JA with a competitive salary of £70,000 inclusive per annum on offer. Job Profile The role will provide transformational leadership and development to support the operational efficiency and delivery of cancer services in Haematology and Oncology services, ensuring and being accountable for high quality, cost effective services.
