The Role
In this role you will deliver high quality risk oversight by analysing risk and control performance, supporting the Bank's Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process, and managing the Risk Incident Management framework. You will identify trends and emerging risks through data analysis and assurance activities, maintain the central risk and control library, and prepare clear, insightful reports for senior stakeholders that highlight key risk themes and opportunities for improvement. You will also administer and optimise the Bank's Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) system and provide effective support to users.
The role supports the development of an embedded and proactive risk culture by offering pragmatic risk and control advice, providing second line oversight of key change initiatives, and developing guidance and training for colleagues across the Bank. You will work closely with firstline teams, Risk Champions and wider Risk & Compliance colleagues to promote continuous improvement and support delivery of the team's strategic objectives, fostering effective collaborative relationships across the organisation.
